It feels good when we exceed client expectations. And this month, we have two particular clients who have had a most excellent month.
Our first client chose to work with a reverse mortgage – an HECM loan.
What made this fun – even though a small $100,000 HECM – we were able to close the loan for absolutely no cost to our client. Three big benefits in one small loan: 1) the fees were built into the loan, 2) our clients received the lowest interest rate possible, and 3) as an early Christmas present, they were able to keep all their cash in their own pockets.
And to think, it all started with a call and a conversation, on how best to cover the costs of much needed home repairs. Is time for us to begin the next conversation?
Our second favorite “client-of-the-month” could finally celebrate a long desired victory after years of struggling with property valuation challenges. After our initial conversations, we identified the past problems and were then able to scope out a path of success. In the end, we were able to refinanced a triplex in Fresno, taking full advantage of the HARP rate-reduction refinance program. The great news: Their interest rate dropped by 2% – a real monthly savings – and they keep their property.
